ABOUT

Katie Parker is a multi- instrumentalist based out of  Toronto, Ontario. She started her artistic journey in piano lessons and musical theatre. Her love for the stage was apparent and a young age and she had always had an ideation of pursuing a career in music. Originating from a small town, she never stopped performing whenever and wherever she could. Playing local restaurants to opening for her Dad's band, Katie continued to push herself as a vocalist and performer. She is currently studying songwriting and performance at Seneca College, where the opportunities for collaboration and songwriting are endless.

​​Nearing the end of  her Grade 12 year, Katie released her first single "October Tenth" (feat. Delaney Brooklyn). It is an un- apologetically raw and honest depiction of a toxic friendship which showcases her ability as a lyricist. After the release of October Tenth, Katie's band Twenty To Seven started to emerge and rise through the London music scene. They played shows across Southwestern Ontario, displaying their powerhouse vocals and intense lyrical and melodic content. ​Twenty To Seven dis-banded in late 2023, but Katie continued creating and performing music as an independent solo artist. She still writes from a place of honesty and expresses the faults of human nature in her unique sense of story telling. She draws inspiration from the traumatic, beautiful and depressing parts of life, showing the world a glimpse of her mind through her songwriting.​ Keep an eye out for new music and collaborations from Katie Parker
